Apple is just trying to "distort the public's understanding of an antenna design issue and to deflect attention," the co-CEOs write in an animated statement. (Read it in full at Crackberry.com.) "One thing is for certain, RIM's customers don't need to use a case for their BlackBerry smartphone." Snap. Now before BlackBerry users get too full of themselves, Chris Matyszczk at CNET concludes his wrap-up of the RIM response thusly: "There will be those who will wonder whether this technological conservatism is what makes BlackBerrys so terribly boxy and businesslike in their design.
