This surge in campaigning is likely to be the first of several as the Illinois senator tries to regain ground on Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton, reports the Washington Post. A recent survey indicated that Clinton has been pulling ahead in the primary race, though a Newsweek poll has Obama as the favorite of Democrats who will be attending the Iowa caucus. Obama has begun taking more direct aim at Clinton, calling her out for dodging recent questions on Social Security reform and—more jokingly—baseball.
