Kenny MacAskill's brother, Allan, spent 20 years at BP, which admits that it lobbied for a prisoner-transfer agreement between the UK and Libya, and now works in renewables. Edinburgh dismissed criticisms of the link as "ridiculous," but the government failed to disclose the relationship even after Abdelbaset al-Megrahi's release.
