(AP Photo/Sang Tan) Private investigators working for Madeleine McCann's parents have received “hundreds of calls” from people with information about a woman who may be involved in the child’s disappearance, the Telegraph reports. A witness said the woman, described as a Victoria Beckham lookalike with an Australian accent, was pacing and looking agitated outside the Port Olimpic Marina in Barcelona 72 hours after Maddy’s disappearance. When the witness, a British man, approached the woman, she reportedly asked him: "Are you here to deliver my new daughter?" The woman then went into a bar nearby and had an argumentative conversation with a local in Spanish. The McCann’s investigators are treating seriously the possibility that Maddy was smuggled by boat from the family’s vacation apartment in the Algarve area of Portugal to Barcelona.
