(AP Photo/Mary Ann Chastain) Jenny Sanford doesn’t much care what political fate befalls her cheating husband, CNN reports. “His career is not a concern of mine,” South Carolina's first lady told reporters as she left the family’s vacation home. “He’s going to have to worry about that. I’m worried about my family and the character of my children.” She also said that she’d be fine whether she and the footloose governor split up or not. But Sanford said she would make an effort to patch things up, "because I believe in marriage.” Meanwhile, the lieutenant governor said he wasn’t calling for Sanford’s resignation, even though it would give him the state’s top job. “Mark Sanford is still my governor,” Andre Bauer said. “I'm going to stand by and try to help him.” Read These Next Salesforce CEO's ICE joke leaves employees fuming.
