A federal investigation that began a year ago prompted Mrs. Blago to quit real estate work amid questions over whether clients hired her to win pull with hubby Rod Blagojevich. Now, Patti is accused of aiding her husband in attempting to sell Barack Obama’s vacated Senate seat. She discussed on wiretap tapes getting herself a corporate board seat via the pay-to-play scandal, and pushed her husband to get Tribune editorial writers sacked as part of a deal to sell Tribune-owned Wrigley Field, according to law enforcement authorities.
