A driver appears to have captured an image of a missing 19-year-old in Texas on the morning she disappeared, reports NBC News. The grainy dashcam clip released by the Bexas County Sheriff's Office shows someone walking along the road blocks from the home of Camila Mendoza Olmos about 7am Wednesday. "If this is indeed her, we've got what we believe to be a good direction of flight," says Sheriff Javier Salazar. "We've got to consider all possibilities, from disappearing willfully, to the possibility of self-harm, to somebody may have taken her," Salazar added. Authorities are hoping other drivers might have video, too.

Texas authorities say a 19-year-old woman who disappeared on Christmas Eve is believed to be "in imminent danger." Camila Mendoza Olmos was seen leaving her San Antonio-area home around 7am on Wednesday, wearing a baby-blue and black hoodie, baby-blue pajama bottoms and white shoes, according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. Her mother reported her missing after she failed to return from what was described as her usual morning walk, per Fox News. Video footage shows an unknown person, believed to be Olmos, searching inside her vehicle before leaving on foot. She is thought to have been carrying only "her car key and possibly her driver's license," according to the sheriff's office.

Sheriff Javier Salazar confirmed that Olmos, an American citizen, is not in federal custody, including with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which had been a "personal concern," per ABC News. He said the active ground search covered only a few square miles, but "we're also not ruling out that this case may take us outside the borders of the continental United States." The FBI is providing technical support, and the Department of Homeland Security is monitoring border crossings and international travel in connection with the case, Salazar said. He noted Olmos had recently split from a romantic partner but added the split was mutual and the partner is cooperating, per ABC.
