A Texas mother on the FBI's "Top 10 Most Wanted" list has been captured more than two years after fleeing overseas following the disappearance of her 6-year-old son. Cindy Rodriguez Singh, 40, faces charges of capital murder and fleeing prosecution in connection with the presumed death of her son, Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, whose body hasn't been found, per USA Today. Singh was charged in 2023, seven months after authorities say she left Texas for India with her husband and six other children.

Authorities determined Singh had obtained passports for all of her children except Noel, last seen in October 2022. Singh initially told investigators that Noel was living with his biological father in Mexico, a claim officials say was false. The FBI, after initially offering a $25,000 reward, increased the amount to $250,000 in July as it named Singh to its "Most Wanted" list. The agency didn't say where Singh was arrested or where she's being held. FBI Director Kash Patel noted she's the fourth person among the "Most Wanted" list's top 10 to be arrested in the last seven months.
