President Trump's live TV f-bomb dominated late-night punch lines on Tuesday, with hosts airing the clip in which the president, on White House grounds, told reporters that Iran and Israel "don't know what the f--- they're doing" after violating a ceasefire.

  • Jimmy Kimmel Live!: "That's what many people say about him. He doesn't know what the f--- he's doing!" quipped Diego Luna, who was filling in as host, per Rolling Stone.

  • Tonight Show: "Trump wasn't messing around. A few seconds later he threatened to put both countries in a timeout," joked Jimmy Fallon. Though he said the ceasefire was holding, he noted "it's about as stable as an Ikea cabinet with eight screws missing."
  • Late Show: "Wow, he is so mad and/or so projecting," observed Stephen Colbert. He also referenced Trump's nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, saying, "I'm not sure they give an award for bombing people into submission."
  • Late Night: Of the f-bomb, Seth Meyers said, "Remember when Biden whispered it to Obama and everyone on the right lost their f---ing minds?" per the New York Times. He also poked fun at Trump asking Iran and Israel to "please" not violate the ceasefire. "This reminds me of the time my bodega put up a 'No shoplifting' sign. You know what happened? Someone took it," he joked.
