Vivian Wilson, the transgender daughter of former First Buddy Elon Musk, made her "drag debut" Friday night in Los Angeles, per TMZ. Wilson, who ditched her dad's last name when she turned 18 and has spoken out against his anti-trans views on multiple occasions, was the headliner at the show, organized by drag activist Pattie Gonia and also featuring drag artists Vera!, Nini Coco, Jacob Ostler, Skirt Cocaine, Noxxia Datura, and Trudy Tective. It was held at the Bellwether, a downtown LA concert hall near the area where protesters have been gathering to decry the Trump administration's ICE raids, and all proceeds were donated to an immigration legal defense fund. Per TMZ, the crowd went "absolutely wild" for Wilson, whose performer name is Vivllainous.
"We're using drag to stand in solidarity with detained immigrants, protestors, and everyone raising their voices for justice," Gonia said on social media, per People. Wilson sported a skintight black bodysuit, translucent corset, black boots, and "futuristic" makeup as she lip synced to "Wasted Love" by Austrian singer JJ. She waved a transgender pride flag as she danced, performed backbends, and flipped her hip-length hair. "Now is a very tough time to be different in this world," Gonia said at the show, per Out magazine. "Tough time to be queer. But let's not forget that we've been here before. And what's gonna get us through time and time again is love and community and some really good f------ weed." (More Vivian Wilson stories.)
