(AP Photo/Darron Cummings, File) Looks like John Mellencamp won't be walking down the aisle for a fourth time. After a back-and-forth relationship with Meg Ryan dating back to 2011—they broke up three years after that, reconciled shortly after, broke up in 2015, got back together in 2017, then got engaged last year—it looks like the 68-year-old singer and 57-year-old actress are done once again. After Ryan was seen two days in a row recently without her engagement ring, a source tells People that the two have indeed ended their pairing. "He didn’t want to get married again," the source says. "He loves her, but marriage never seemed to be a part of it." Meanwhile, a source tells Us Weekly that Ryan "had enough and ended [their engagement]. She has no regrets." Mellencamp was previously married to Priscilla Esterline, Victoria Granucci, and Elaine Irwin and has five children. Ryan was married to Dennis Quaid, with whom she shares a son, Jack. "It's unclear how important a marriage was to Meg," the People source says. "But they spent a lot of time together and it's too bad they split. They really got along so well together."
