(AP Photo/Ben Margot) A nationwide Impossible Whopper is just a week away. Burger King announced Thursday that its vegan burger—expanded to six additional markets following an increase in foot traffic in its initial test market of St. Louis—will be sold at all 7,200 locations across the country for a limited time beginning Aug. 8. "It really does taste like beef," Chris Finazzo, president of Burger King North America, tells CNBC of the burger with a suggested retail price of $5.59. Judge for yourself: The fast-food chain will offer a $7 taste-test box containing an Impossible Whooper and a regular Whopper, available via the Burger King app or through DoorDash. Or you can grill your own. Supplier Impossible said Wednesday that it will begin selling its vegan patties in grocery stores next month, per USA Today.
