(AP Photo/David Goldman, File) First came a pipe bomb discovered Monday in George Soros' mailbox, then the announcement Wednesday of the Secret Service's interception of "two suspicious packages" meant for the offices of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama (Clinton's package was said to contain a "functional explosive device"). Now comes word the Time Warner Center in New York City, home to CNN headquarters, was evacuated so the NYPD's bomb squad could investigate a suspicious package found in the mailroom, CNBC reports. An NYPD source says the device found was made of pipes and wires, per CNN. A clip online shows the moment CNN newscasters had to vacate their desks during a live broadcast about the Clinton/Obama news; CNBC notes CNN started broadcasting out of its DC offices instead. (The bomb sent to Soros was "proactively detonated" by a bomb squad.) Read These Next Another big brand delivers an AI-driven holiday dud. Venezuela responds to the US seizure of an oil tanker.
