That's according to WalletHub, which rates more than 180 US cities on a variety of factors, including the availability of entry-level jobs, quality of life, and job satisfaction. The resulting ranking shows the best and worst US cities for those starting a career, with Salt Lake City coming out on top. The winners and losers, with a score out of 100:

2. Orlando, Fla.: 66
3. Atlanta, Ga.: 65
4. Charleston, SC: 61
5. Tempe, Ariz.: 60

Worst:

1. Santa Clarita, Calif.: 34
2. Shreveport, La.: 34
3. Oxnard, Calif.: 34
4. Hialeah, Fla.: 35
5. Newark, NJ: 35
