Celebrity | Meghan Markle Guess Who's Back in the USA? Meghan Markle returns to Chicago to secure a UK visa ahead of her wedding By Polly Davis Doig Posted Apr 13, 2018 9:19 AM CDT Copied Prince Harry and fiancee Meghan Markle attend the UK team trials for the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 at the University of Bath, England, Friday, April 6, 2018. (AP Photo/Frank Augstein) Meghan Markle apparently blew into her old Windy City stomping grounds on Thursday, but the future Her Royal Highness Princess Henry of Wales was a woman on a mission, not a nostalgia tour, reports TMZ. With little more than a month until her wedding to Prince Harry, Markle was back Stateside to complete her application for a UK visa—which she apparently did at Chicago's VFS Global UK Visa Application Centre, to the tune of $1,500 for expedited processing. Sources tell TMZ she should have a visa in her hands within a few days. She's due to fly out Sunday evening, reports the Chicago Tribune, which has a photo of what appears to be Markle at O'Hare Airport. After six months, Markle can apply for permanent citizenship, though that can take up to three years. Read These Next Major websites, apps affected by massive outage.
