(Vice News Tonight via AP) The University of Virginia Police Department has obtained warrants for the arrest of white nationalist Christopher Cantwell, the Cavalier Daily reports. Cantwell is one of the white nationalists who gained the most attention after the Charlottesville violence thanks to his role in a Vice News documentary and a YouTube video in which he fought back tears while talking about his concerns that police might kill him, and the warrants are related to the white nationalists' Charlottesville march. Specifically, the warrants cite the alleged "illegal use of tear gas, phosgene and other gases" and "malicious bodily injury by means of any caustic substance or agent or use of any explosive or fire," both felonies. A photograph from the march appears to show Cantwell using pepper spray on a counter-protester. Police are asking him to turn himself in.
