The move came hours after opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai claimed an outright victory and warned that Mugabe was getting ready to wage a "war on the people" to stay in power. Mugabe's Zanu-PF party claimed "errors and miscalcalcuations" in the vote count, the state newspaper reported. It asked the court to audit all ballots. Zanu-PF also said that Mugabe had rejected an offer from Tsvangirai to form a unity government. Earlier, Tsvangirai insisted he won and denied the need for a runoff election.
