Teen Who Set Himself Ablaze in School Cafeteria Dies

The 16-year-old who set himself on fire in his Colorado high school's cafeteria late last month died yesterday, the Denver Post reports. Vincent Nett suffered burns over 80% of his body in the Jan. 27 incident, with 40% of those burns being third-degree. "This is not someone's fault, I had this planned for years so shut your face if you think that this was because of something recent or because of someone," Vincent had written in a suicide note before walking into the Standley Lake High School cafeteria with a 1-gallon Coleman fuel jug shortly after 7am. Police don't think he intended to harm anyone else, KDVR reports.
