But who would have bet on Channing Tatum, thanks to Magic Mike, the film he and Steven Soderbergh financed? It cost $7 million and has pulled in $167 million globally, notes EOnline. The first five, based on earnings from June 2012 to June 2013:

2. Channing Tatum, $60 million (Magic Mike)
3. Hugh Jackman, $55 million (Les Miserables)
4. Mark Wahlberg, $52 million (Ted)
5. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, $46 million (Fast & Furious 6, GI Joe: Retaliation
