Celebrity | Justin Bieber Justin Bieber Paternity Case Refuses to Die Mariah Yeater's attorney never got paternity test results, he says By Evann Gastaldo Posted Nov 28, 2012 10:40 AM CST Copied This Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010 booking photo provided by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shows Mariah Laci Yeater. (AP Photo/Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department) We all laugh-barfed when Mariah Yeater claimed she conceived a son during a backstage rendezvous with then-16-year-old Justin Bieber in 2010, and breathed a sigh of relief when her paternity suit against him seemed to go away quietly. But that, apparently, was wishful thinking: Yeater's lawyer tells the New York Daily News they never received results from DNA tests Bieber says he took, and they don't even know if the Biebs ever actually took them. When Yeater withdrew the lawsuit, she said she and her lawyers would attempt to work out a settlement outside the court, and her attorney told the Daily News last year that they were "working out a DNA test confidentially." Bieber's attorneys also confirmed around the same time that the pop star had taken a paternity test. Yeater's lawyer wouldn't reveal whether their team is planning new action against Bieber.
