She was 13. (Facebook) A 15-year-old boy has been charged in the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old girl on a school bus in Homestead, Florida, yesterday. Cops say the gun went off by accident and hit Lourdes Guzman-DeJesus in the neck—in front of her 7-year-old sister and several other students—after the teen pulled it out of his bag to display it, the Miami Herald reports. He has been charged with manslaughter and carrying a concealed firearm. The victim's mother described her daughter as a "beautiful angel" who loved music, dancing, and art. "Feels like just yesterday I saw her running around in her Pampers, dancing and modeling for the camera," she said in a statement.
