(AP Photo/Paul Sakluma) In the latest adventures of Cory Booker, the Newark mayor—who tends to be at the center of the action—is set to undergo a food-stamp challenge. After a Twitter user told him that "nutrition is not the responsibility of the government," their back-and-forth resulted in a challenge from Booker: "Lets you and I try to live on food stamps in New Jersey (high cost of living) and feed a family for a week or month. Among other Booker Twitter gems noted by Daily Intel: The mayor offered to call some transgendered people worried about moving to Newark; later, he offered a quote to a student who said she was "staying up all night to write a paper" about him.
