You guessed it, Ted won the weekend box office with a $54.1 million opening, the third-biggest ever for an original R-rated comedy, Entertainment Weekly reports. The much-hyped stripper film Magic Mike took second with $39.2 million and a 73%-female audience. Rounding out the top five were Brave ($34 million), Madea's Witness Protection ($26.4 million), and Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted ($11.8 million).
