(AP Photo/Achmad Ibrahim) Et tu, Al? Former VP Gore joined the chorus critical of President Obama today in a short blog post headlined "Confronting Disappointment." Gore focused on the president's environmental moves, specifically the surprise decision not to impose tougher smog rules. But he also noted that the decision came amid high-profile protests at the White House about a planned oil pipeline from the Gulf Coast to Canada. "Instead of relying on science, President Obama appears to have bowed to pressure from polluters who did not want to bear the cost of implementing new restrictions on their harmful pollution—even though economists have shown that the US economy would benefit from the job creating investments associated with implementing the new technology," wrote Gore. He predicted more sick seniors and kids as a result. Gore's criticism follows a longer diatribe from Robert Redford. Read These Next Salesforce CEO's ICE joke leaves employees fuming.
