The likely 2012 candidate raised $1 million in a single day in a fundraising push tied to last night's debate, reports Politico. Paul's exploratory committee put out the word via email and social networks and brought in a shade more than $1 million. Paul has used the "money bomb" tactic for years, along with son Rand. The development comes after a CNN poll showed Paul fared better than any GOP candidate in a hypothetical one-on-one race against President Obama. He trailed the president by 7 points, 52-45.
