The much-anticipated debut of Kevin Love helped the Bruins surge to a 36-17 halftime lead; Love ended up with 22 points and 13 rebounds, reports the AP. In other Top-25 openers: No. 21 Stanford came within one point of doubling hapless Harvard's score, finishing 111-56. McNeese State started strong but No. 16 Texas A&M came back to win 73-50. No. 19 Arkansas bested Wofford 67-45 after failing to score for the first five minutes. No. 10 Washington State trounced Eastern Washington 68-41.
