In a radio address today, the South Korean president said he wasn’t afraid of war with the North, and vowed that his military would “respond relentlessly when they come under attack.” He told the people that they must be united on the issue of national security, lest the North exploit any divisions, Time reports. “We have now been awakened to the realization that war can be prevented … only when such provocations are met with a strong response,” Lee declared. “Fear of war is never helpful in preventing war.” Read These Next Two photos show 'person of interest' in Kirk shooting.
